I've been dancing in some ways longer than I care to admit, since I began performing as a child. By 18 years I began dancing professionally, teaching and performing on a regular basis. At 21 I was off to Australia, performing several times a week, teaching workshops, and teaching at a health club. My studies of dance have included Middle Eastern/East African, West African, East Indian, Modern, Ballet, Jazz, etc. etc. etc. I've studied the work of Gabrielle Roth, Anna Halprin, and Vin Marti's Soul Motion™. I've taught in schools, dance studios, health clubs, physical therapy centers, recreation centers, convalescent hospitals, mental hospitals, private foundations and private homes. |
